Jack Ellis & Son

Since we were founded in 1912, four generations of the family have worked for Jack Ellis & Son. We have always been a local friendly and trustworthy repair centre from 1912 working on horse and carts to the present day and the finest Rolls Royce. Dedicated to the art and craft of vehicle repairs, our years of experience in the industry has been passed down the generations.

Our workshop

The original Jack Ellis & Son wooden workshop was built in 1950 when we started repairing vehicles. In 1968 we renovated our workshop to the building you see today, we are still located on the same site and run by two generations of the Ellis family.

Four Generations.

Over the years the vehicles may have changed from horse and carts to mini's, Lambrettas, Rolls Royces and everything inbetween but the craftsmen in the workshop have always been part of the Ellis family. Get in touch to arrange an appointment to meet Geoff or Lee.

“My grandad who started the business smiling here is pictured on our original site. He worked with my dad who built the current workshop in 1968 which i am now running with my son who is the fourth generation of craftsmen from the Ellis family.”
