Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to make an appointment for an estimate?

No, just pop in and we will carry out an inspection of your vehicle. We will email or post a copy of the estimate to you.

Do you charge for estimates?

No, just pop in and we will carry out an inspection of your vehicle free of charge.

Could you give me an estimate over the phone?

No, we need to see the damaged vehicle to make an assessment of the damage and provide an estimate. There could also be damage on the vehicle that was hidden behind other damaged parts.

Do I have to use the approved repairer my insurance company is recommending?

Your insurance company might instruct you to have your vehicle repaired by a body shop of their choice, but you don't have to go where your insurance company prefers. We can carry out a full inspection of your vehicle prior to submitting an estimate to your insurance company for the repairs. Your insurance company engineer will arrange to inspect the vehicle and agree figures with us prior to repair. Hopefully it will be more convenient using a local repairer and you are supporting local businesses.

How long will my vehicle take to repair?

This all depends on the extent of the damage, the availability of parts and any other supplementary damage not visible before work commences. However as soon as we are ready to start, an estimated completion date is calculated and we will be in touch.

What delays can occur during the repair process?

It is unfortunate when delays happen, however we aim to get your vehicle back on the road as soon as we can. We may have delays on parts, or if an engineer wants to inspect the vehicle before repairs commence. There could also be damage on the vehicle that was not originally assessed as it was not seen at first or was behind other damaged parts. In this case a supplementary estimate must be compiled and sent for authorisation.

What if I would like additional work done (privately), could it be done at the same time as the insurance work?

When your vehicle is booked in for repair, it is probably the best time to have additional repairs carried out as we will provide you with competitive rates. This will save you time and money if you were to bring it in on a different occasion.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major debit and credit cards or cash.

Do you have a courtesy car for me whilst my car is being repaired?

Yes, although this is subject to availability. We may be able to supply you with a vehicle whilst yours is in for repair with us.

What happens if my vehicle is deemed a total loss?

If your vehicle is deemed a total loss by the insurance company they will contact you immediately. They will then give you some options as to what to do next. We have no control of these options. Once your insurer has made a decision, we will then be instructed by the insurance provider to release the vehicle.

When can I wash my car?

Right away. We have a bake cycle booth that cures the paint immediately after it’s painted. We detail and wash the vehicle prior to you picking it up!

Will my paint match?

Yes, we guarantee color match. We use the highest quality of paint and the most advanced color matching system in the automotive industry.

Are you open on weekends?

Yes! Our hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm and Sat 9:00am to 12:00 noon. We are closed Sunday.
